How does my journey
to Westfield begin?

Enrollment process

After the admissions interview, the following documents are required:

*If the undergraduate degree was not granted by an American institution, the applicant must provide an official academic evaluation stating that the degree received is equivalent to an American Bachelor’s Degree.

An evaluation of the academic degree performed by an international agency of credential evaluation affiliated with AICE (Association of International Credential Evaluators) or NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, see reference list).

Only evaluations issued by members of AICE or NACES will be accepted. A third party provides credit recommendations for students seeking admission to Westfield for an additional cost. This credential verification is performed by Spantran, a NACES member institution.

In-house Credential Evaluation Service

If you do not have a U.S. undergraduate degree, the Florida Department of Education’s Commission for Independent Education (CIE) requires that you process a credential evaluation by an international credential evaluation agency that is a member of the Association of International Credential Evaluators ( AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Academic degree evaluations that not issued by members of AICE or NACES will not be accepted.

Evaluation must conclude that the academic degree is equivalent to a US Bachelor Degree.

This evaluation can be done independently by students. A third party provides credit recommendations for students seeking admission to Westfield for an additional cost. This credential verification is performed by Spantran, a NACES member institution. This service includes: (i) the translation into English of your degree and academic record and (ii) the official evaluation of your credentials.

Requirements:

If you decide to order the evaluation of your Academic
Degree, you must send the following documents directly to the evaluator:

– A copy of your notarized and translated transcript by a certified English translator and member of the American Association of
Translators (ATA).

– A notarized copy of your Academic Degree, translated into English by a certified English translator and member of the American Association of Translators (ATA).

– Academic Degree evaluations that are not issued by
AICE or NACES members will not be accepted.

– All these documents have to be sent to our Business School prior to the start of classes. Students who do not meet these conditions will not be able to enroll in their program.

All documentation must be received at Westfield Business School before classes begin.
